The Edmonton Alpine Ski Racing Society, or known more simply as ESC Alpine, was established in 1937 and is proud to be a part of Edmonton’s rich history. Our home base is at the Edmonton Ski Club, located in the beautiful Cloverdale community, south of the North Saskatchewan River. The top of the hill offers breathtaking views of downtown Edmonton’s growing skyline. In a city where winter recreation is at our core, we offer youth an exciting recreation opportunity.
Our mission is to provide a competitive, inclusive, and cost-effective alpine ski racing program that allows each athlete to achieve their personal best while acknowledging the importance of personal commitment and teamwork. We encourage skill development through training and various racing events all with an aim to foster a lifelong love of skiing. From the young ages of the Nancy Greene Ski League (U6 to U12) to our Regional athletes (U14+), we emphasize the importance of safety, competition, and sportsmanship.
