REFUND Policy

UPDATED FOR THE 2022-2023 SEASON

Conditions
Program offerings are subject to enrolment. Edmonton Alpine Ski Racing Society (EASRS) reserves the right to combine programs as required.  Program days should be considered guidelines as skiing is an outdoor sport, and weather may impede the clubs' ability to meet allotted program days. Training sessions, camps, and races cancelled due to cold weather are non-refundable. View the club’s Cold Weather Policy for more information on weather-related cancellations.

General Refund Policy
General refunds will only be considered up to and including the program start date or November 1, whichever comes first. Alberta Alpine registration and North Zone fees cannot be refunded as these are paid to third parties. Initial payments/deposits are non-refundable, and we will withhold a 3% administration fee.

Injured Athlete Refund Policy
Refunds will only be offered in the case of athlete injury in which the participant cannot continue in the program. A doctor’s certificate is required. The refund credit is determined according to the following:

  • Injury before Dec 1st: 75%

  • Injury before Jan 15th: 50%

This policy will be monitored as the guidelines from Alberta Health Services and Alberta Alpine might evolve during the 2022/2023 season. Any changes to this policy will be communicated via ESC Alpine’s club e-newsletter.

Refunds for all other situations are at the sole discretion of the EASRS Board of Directors. The EASRS Board reserves the right to modify this policy for extraordinary situations.
